Interior painting requires experience, skills, time, and attention to detail. Perfect preparation is key to a high quality finish and is always at the heart of our operations.
Preparation includes:
Moving furniture in a cautious manner.
Removing door handles, window hardware, blinds, curtains and re-installing all upon completion.
Ensuring drop sheets are laid down. Covering and masking floors, tiles, plants, glass, and other surfaces that are not to be painted.
Filling gaps, cracks, and imperfections.
Sanding and sealing filler and bare surfaces.
Application of primer undercoat to any bare timber, render, concrete surface, walls, ceilings, plaster, woodwork etc..to seal for final coats.
Washing surfaces where there are signs of mould and heavy contaminants.
Finish coats include:
- Application of the right type and brand of paint depending on the material of substrate. We prefer to use Dulux but can accomodate to any of your tastes, wants and needs.
- Sanding painted surfaces between coats of paint with appropriate equipment.
- This includes the spraying, cutting and rolling of walls, ceilings and other surfaces with the appropriate tools.
Working at heights:
Interior painting may require working from heights such as A frame ladders, extension ladders, mobile scaffolding or elevated work platforms. We understand the importance of safety and we have safety measures in place to minimise and control risk. We are committed to abide by all Worksafe regulations and Guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff, our clients and their properties.
